Invisible Files 2000 Pro is a program for Windows 95/98/Millennium that allows hiding of any file or folder on the local hard drives of personal computers. The files are not physically deleted but they are invisible (even in Windows safe mode and DOS session). File systems FAT16 and FAT32 are supported. IF2000 Pro also supports long filenames. With IF2000 Pro you can safely wipe the critical information. The main window of IF2000 Pro is shown below.


The DEMO release has the following restrictions:

   - Maximum 500 Kb of information can be hidden;
   - Maximum 10 files can be hidden;
   - Windows startup warning message.

IF2000 Pro has the following menu:

FILE

• Hide - Opens the dialog window for selection of files to be hidden. You can also drag any file or folder from Windows Explorer to My Hidden Files in the IF2000 Pro window.
• Unhide - All hidden files or folders selected will be restored.
• Wipe - Rewrites with random data the space occupied by files being wiped, making it quite impossible to recover confidential documents. This item opens the dialog window for selection of files to be wiped. You can also drag any file or folder from Windows Explorer to Shredder in the IF2000 Pro window.
• Change password - The program is protected from unauthorized access. The logon password is set on the first launching of IF2000 Pro. Then you can change logon password any time using this item.
• Exit - Exit the program.

VIEW

• Always On Top - Places the Invisible Files 2000 Pro window above all other windows.
• Sort - Sort files by name, by size, by type or by date.
• Options - Time period for program termination in the case of user inactivity. Enabling/disabling of invisible mode. Hotkey combination for program activation.

GO

• Back - Go back to previously selected folder.
• Forward - Go forward to next selected folder.
• Up One Level - Go up one level in the folders tree.
• Home Page - Visit IF2000 Pro Web Site.
• My Hidden Files - Go to My Hidden Files folder.

HELP

• Help - Information about IF2000 Pro features.

ATTENTION!

IF2000 Pro cannot hide or wipe it's own program files and Windows system files.

TIP: In the invisible mode it is necessary to press hotkey combination set in the Options window to activate the program. The directory of IF2000 Pro will be hidden (only in Windows) in the invisible mode.

TIP: We strongly recommend to use Invisible Mode and nothing will reveal your secret hidden files.

TIP: Use Timeout facility for program termination in the case of user inactivity after defined time period.

The IF2000 Pro is SHAREWARE. This means:

1. All copyrights to IF2000 Pro are exclusively owned by Anna Ltd.

2. This is a SHAREWARE version of IF2000 Pro, hereafter referred to as 'the Software', and you are hereby granted a non-exclusive license to use the Software. If you have obtained the software free of charge your are not entitled to support of any kind.

3. Anyone may use this software during a test period of 30 days. Following this test period of 30 days or less, if you wish to continue to use IF2000 Pro, you MUST register.

4. ANNA Ltd. assumes no liability and is not responsible for any misuse or damage caused by our software product. It's final user's responsibility to obey all applicable local, state, federal and countries laws.

5. Once registered, the user is granted a non-exclusive license to use IF2000 Pro on one computer (i.e. a single CPU), for any legal purpose, at a time. The registered IF2000 Pro software may not be rented or leased, but may be permanently transferred, if the person receiving it agrees to terms if this license. If the software is an update, the transfer must include the update and all previous versions.

6. The IF2000 Pro unregistered SHAREWARE version, may be freely distributed, provided the distribution package is not modified. No person or company may charge a fee for the distribution of IF2000 Pro without written permission from the copyright holder.

7. The software IS DISTRIBUTED "AS IS". You may not use, copy, emulate, clone, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed program, make available either intentionally or otherwise your registration details to other persons, use the software contrary to acceptable use policies, or any subset of the licensed program, except as provided for in this agreement. Any such unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this license and may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved by ANNA Ltd.

8. Installing and using IF2000 Pro signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions of the license.

9. If you do not agree with the terms of this license you must remove IF2000 Pro files from your storage devices and cease to use the product.

10. The license will terminate automatically and the software unregistered if you fail to comply with any of the above terms and conditions. The license may be terminated by either party at any time and without notice.
